1923 Dodge Brothers Touring Car

Here we have a Barn Fresh 1923 Dodge Brothers Touring Car With Clear Old Texas Title.

This Nice old car came out of the barn about 6 months ago, we put new tires on it, rotted the gas tank, put plugs, wires, New battery and points in it and it started up!. The car has the original 12 volt electric start/generator system on it and it works fine. The car runs good (has an exhaust leak) shifts fine and the brakes work very good as well, all the lights work. It's been in the barn since 1969, it looks like all the black paint (except the gas tank) is original, the burgundy looks to have been done many years ago but looks good for the age. The seats are in very good condition, the top has a rip along the front and the beveled glass in the rear of the top looks original as well. The doors open and shut fine and the only rust I see is on the lower left side under the door and it looks like surface rust not bad at all. The windshield glass looks original and nice and wiper works fine (powered by arm strong). This is just a nice very original car needing a new home, I put a picture of the barn it came out of in Godley Texas, I wish I had taken one of it still in the barn, the people had it in there family since the 50s and the dad of the guy I got it from, said his dad ran it in parades and that he had the motor rebuilt in the early 60s. His dad and mom gave it to him for a birthday gift in 1972 but it was kept in the barn and he never got to drive it. I do have a shop manual that goes with it.
